what has to happen...?

the question remains.....what has to happen, that we, the cognitively disadvantaged human race learn to understand. my believe is it, that we already have past the point of no return. we have recognized much too late, what we do to our home 24 hours a day and so on. so many books have been written, so many stories have been told, so many scientists were quieted, so many of them changed sides and with not too much brain work this sentence can be concluded individually. many good things have happened, happen and will happen. but to the contrary of the asian saying, that even the smallest stone cast into the water will draw bigger becoming circles...what good is it if there is no water left to throw it in....
still the biggest global achievement of all of us together is the destruction of our planet and each other. that is clearly a fact, which no one needs a degree in any of the sciences for....just look out the window with open eyes and ears where the proof is to find.......we did not make it possible yet to stop or reverse the abuse and the time will glide away on a film of oil, dirt, smog, sour rain and everything else we daily experience.
something real big needs to take place, introduced by mother nature (in a non religious context). we have had examples and displays of her strength and we currently witness an incline in events all over the world. and like so many other tales end, also this one will find its end with the words: .......and it is only the beginning......

conservation officers?

.....not too long ago a mother bear and her few weeks old cub have been shot by such called conservation officers. in search for easy food the mother entered a home , which is just another home on ground which once was "reigned" by flora and fauna, occupied by residents of much lesser aggresion and fear.

now, that we have claimed these once ancient forests and turned them into residential neighbourhoods we will simply shoot or kill who or whatever imposes danger to our oh so peaceful existence. in the name of safety we justify it with uniformed "conservationists", who "probably" do everything to save and preserve the beauty of our ever demising natural richness. once i decided to take the path leading me towards becoming a conservation officer, but when i see and hear what happens in the name of conservation all over this beautiful country and the world, i decided to look for alternatives..........

20.000 new hunting licenses......

the b.c. government introduced the idea to issue 20.000 more hunting licenses and encourages predominantly women and younger individuals to purchase or apply. however , the number is the big question mark here. all i can do is shake my head in disgust. 20.000 means 20.000 more guns, a lot more bullets, a target group which is questionable, at least 20.000 dead animals many more wounded ones and certainly a lot of dismembered ones. hunting, fishing and slaughtering for sport or display of strength and other purposeless reasons (to not go into vulgarities)is just another certificate of what we have become. "congratulations".....

not being wealthy enough for a financial contribution, i choose this way to pay my contribution to this and for this necessary purpose, for it hopefully will increase the number of people one by one to save what keeps us alive.......a.keil
